Get grooving

When you feel you are doing what you want, you are in balance. When you are in balance, you are full of energy. It is a feeling of optimal cooperation with yourself. Then it goes well. You notice that everything runs smoothly and that you don’t have to make any special efforts. You are cheerful and friendly to yourself and others. You have found your rhythm in feeling, checking and adjusting your balance. And so you go through your day and your life grooving.

Being in balance is a powerful situation. Your attention is then evenly distributed. We often think of our balance when we experience disturbances somewhere in our lives. Only then do we pay attention to “repair” it. Being out of balance is normal and sometimes even stimulating. If something is disruptive, you can consciously and proactively manage your balance and thus increase your personal strength and effectiveness. This will help prevent imbalance. If you are in balance internally, then everything in your life fits nicely together, then you don’t do one too much or the other too little. You listen to signals that are important to you, you also hear them and give them a meaningful follow-up. You immediately correct disruptions. People notice this. They will be happy to be with you and be part of your positive and flowing energy. When we think of balance, we often think of the balance between two things, but life is more complex than that. There are many factors that influence our balance sheet. Those are our balance makers. The exact ones are personal for each person. Balance is about maintaining and creating a balanced distribution and alternation of attention. What or who gets your attention or not? How much attention do you give and when, in what proportion? You can find out what requires your attention.

Use the balance wheel, which rotates rhythmically as an instrument, because all spokes are of equal strength. These spokes are your balance makers, so the factors or areas of attention that are important for your balance and rhythm. There are general and personal balance makers. It is important that you are aware of the important aspects for you and that you keep them in balance. By proactively managing your balance, you prevent yourself from becoming structurally unbalanced and thereby feeling unpleasant or stressed or even going beyond your own limits. Or even worse, getting into a burnout. To go groovy through the day and your life you need to find a rhythm in checking and adjusting your balance. Actually, you constantly turn the knobs to adjust your different balance makers. So know what your important balance makers are and listen to the information from the subtle signals of your physical sensations, your emotions and your intuition. You can then always check how it is and decide whether you should make adjustments by giving your attention a little more to one and less to the other. Keeping balance is an ongoing process, not something you only do once a day. It often happens automatically and by feeling, but if that does not work, you can do it consciously. It may help you to schedule fixed times in the day.
